Hiccup wasn't big and tough like his fellow Vikings. In fact, he was a little timid and worried a lot--and what worried him the most was going to sea for the very first time. His father, Stoick the Vast, wasn't sympathetic. He just sang the Viking song, ending with... "O ancient prawn-y green-ness The never-ending SEA Mess with squirmy jellyfish But DO NOT MESS WITH ME!" "Oo-er" thought Hiccup. But Hiccup cheers up when he saves the day and steers the ship home. This book is worth it for the Viking song alone. Like all good children's books, it is one adults can also enjoy. I love the language used and the quirky humour. For ages three and up. 20% off from Amazon at http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0340757221/chi-21 About the Author Cressida Cowell grew up in London.
