The Library runs fortnightly on Tuesday afternoons. In September they will need a new Secretary and Rota Coordinator. They also need people to help run sessions. About the Author Maurice Sendak was born in New York in 1928. He both writes and illustrates his books. Many of his illustrations feature a moon, which is said to represent his mother peaking out a window at him when he was a child to be sure that he was alright. Sendak's works have been adapted for film and opera.
